MICHAEL As I look on bygone days And memories that they bring I wish I had some over To correct a lot of things You grew up much too quickly I didn't take the time To know you as a person And hear what was on your mind I worried about the house we had And school and toys and clothes Because these things were lacking In my childhood, I suppose Everything was not done wrong That much I can say Because you grew in to a man I'm proud of yet today It's just to say that when you have Your chance to raise your own Let them know you love them Before they are full grown With Love from Dad, May 2, 1985
